The company kicked of the year by sponsoring the Vendor Exhibits at the 2008 Rochester Motorsport Expo, a fundraiser for the continued development of the Monroe County Fair's Motor Speedway. Ray Sands Glass will again sponsor the 2008 Monroe County Fair Daily program. The Daily Program provides fair patrons with a listing of that' day's events. Involvement in the communities that they live and work in is the norm rather than an exception at Ray Sands Glass. From providing needy families with Christmas gifts through Focus on the Children, fundraising events with The Boy Scouts of America, helping rehab a safe house for kids in crisis, to safety presentations at local high schools. Ray Sands has also had the pleasure of working closely with the New York State Troopers Sniper Team giving a presentation on the different aspects of glass, while providing different types of glass for training exercises.

Over 4500 graduates have come through PDI for their New York State Commercial Driver’s License.
